Somewhere back in October 2012, my then boyfriend signed me up for a pole dancing class. He heard about it from his friend, who raved about how good of a training it is and how much she enjoys it. Seeing that I felt down about my body yet hated sports, he tried to convince me to try it, for many long months. I didn’t totally object, but never actually took the plunge. At last, he just called up a local studio and left me with no other choice than to go for it. 

Three years laters, I’m a full blown fitness fanatic who loves their body and hates rest days. Pole dancing also opened me up to the wonderful and treacherous world of flexibility. I love exploring both like a total nerd, and I’d love to lay my thoughts and findings in order in this blog, as well as my training and plans.
